Your compass to the end is my face, when my face shines darkness is dispelled. You need my face to gaze on you.

Ephesians 5:14

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 

What is beautiful about the Church is the Spirit. The state of being latent in the Kingdom can be likened to being dead. Letting our guard down or being loose makes us dead and like an unbeliever who is not saved. We have to be deliberate about being alive to God. We cannot learn enough if we are not deliberate; the state of death comes back when we begin to think that we are alright.

Pressing on is a continuous thing because we are on a journey. It is laborious to always want to speak in tongues when asked to pray because most times our thoughts are far away, busy with Satan’s skills. We cannot afford to slide into a sleeping state for it is as good as being dead because God will not shine on us if we are not ready for his shining, God is the one who reveals himself and keeps shining; he must translate and our hunger must heighten. Our posture as believers must be evident. The territory of our operation is not these four walls we should go to our place of work and let them know who we are. There is a deliberate posture that we must take for God to shine; we cannot afford to sleep at all.

Many of us were born in church so we don’t really appreciate being born again but those who were not born in church know the meaning of bondage and freedom. Being born in church is not the same as being born again. When we come to church therefore, we must come to Light. The present day Christians assume liberty and that God is their father who they come to, but it is important to know that not every saint is in Light. Every saint is in Christ but it is not every saint that is in Light. Light delivers us from the grip of the darkness.

Colossians 1:13

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 

 

If natural being can respond to light, how much more our spirit man? Light can move us out of darkness. The chains and the fetters of hell can be broken when light shines. God delivers men by light for light liberates. When we go to school some veils were dropped by reason of the light we received. Some things can hold us and make us ugly; not that we are born or physically ugly but darkness in the soul can make a man ugly. We should therefore not joke with light for light is power. To preach light and what is dying comes alive is another domain entirely which is made available by Jesus. The New Testament is a way that has never being before now, it is new.

Ephesians 2:1-3

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 

 

A soul must have committed evil over and over again and being given to it till he becomes a child of wrath. An average person will never say he is a child of the devil because nobody will accept not being a child of God; it is when a template of understanding of the Gospel is brought to us that we realise that we are not children of God in the real sense. Children of wrath are not those who have sinned to the extreme but everyone who is not saved; this defines the true state that we were in.

A dead man does not know he has a need. We did not know that we had a need until Jesus came and saved us; it was then we knew that we were dead because of the conversation and lifestyle we had. Our conversation is from what we think. The way we walked when we were dead sold us off as children of wrath. We are completely a three dimensional people; we are completely spirit, completely soul, and completely body. Our spirit can leave our body and stay away alone and they can also live together as three in one person. A man’s soul can die and be separate from the rest; also his spirit can live while the soul is dead; they are three different building in one person.

Before we were accounted children of wrath it meant that our three persons had died and stop being dependent on God; taking process within ourselves and being independent. We were thus reckoned as children of wrath. The children of wrath are not the most sinful people but they who align their spirit, soul and body to live without God. Within a short moment that a child is born, he moves to the state of being a child of wrath for his spirit is dead, his soul aligns with that and his body begins to learn wickedness. If the way man is structured is not revealed, he will not saved. If light is not shinning there cannot be salvation. Christ has to reveal God to us for us to be saved.

Mercy had to ensure that our spirit which was dead was raised; it is the riches of mercy that saved us. God had to ignore everything that has been done for us to be raised. The soul has to rely on the administration of the riches of Grace so Christ can be raised in the soul. Christ quickened us together with him; he quickly did that to give man the quality of life that is on the throne to save us. He took the spirit and raised him up, changed his nature by giving him a quality of a higher life. He quickened us so that Grace can begin to work on the soul and make it to start relating and experiencing what is in the spirit gradually. Mercy raised us up. Mercy found us.

Only Adam remembered that he had a spirit; other generations after him did not know. It is only the Gospel of Christ that can raise a man; this is what makes man different. Jesus Christ restored the identity of the fallen man and gave him the nature of deity called quickening; this is not just that Christ came alive, he is ever alive. The soul went on a journey led by the devil. When the devil disobeyed, sin came to be by disobedience. Death mandate had been before sin came but was not activated until sin came by disobedience. Adam knew what is called death. Satan’s disobedience legalized its power on every one who disobeyed which led to a journey unto a place called death. The last enemy is death for death is the end of sin. Jesus died and took authority to liberate man from that death so it is appointed for man to die once. We cannot stop the first death for it is an appointment but we should not die the second death for we have died once and have been judged.

Hebrews 9:27

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 

 

Christ suffered to bear the sin of those who had died once, he took our sin and it was judged so the judgment on us was transferred to him that is why God can raise us. Salvation here is a life without sin and no condemnation. Romans 8:1. Death has its prophetic end; once man is there, he must move on to the end. This conversation was administered by another spirit who is older than man and understands the terrain of man. Nothing can deal with him except God brings a higher conversation for that thing which he did he did by nature.

Isaiah 25:2

For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built. 

 

These people are God’s people but were ruled over by a strong nation. Sin and death are nations that rule over nations. Prophets are those who have gained access to the divine thought that can bring salvation. God told the Israelites that if they sinned they would be punished and the devil knew that if they could not sin then that command would not come. The Gospel makes no difference between Jews and Gentiles. When the enemy led us at first, it was with wine for man cannot be led without wines. The prophecy here is for salvation. There was a veil that came upon all nations and defined our conversation.

Psalm 89:1

I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. 

 

Faithfulness is a message, a builder and a habitation. Faithfulness is what God will establish on the very heavens, for it is the only thing that can deal with death. Only mercy can tamper with judgment and can also take care of judgment, dealing with the nature of sin. There are counsels that are aged counsels, which are older than Satan. They have been before the world began. The cross as an example is one aged counsel that is meant to deal with the old man. For Paul, the cross was an affliction which if he had dropped would have reduced his enemy. For Jesus the cross was a place that he should get to. The devil did not know that the cross is not a wood but a counsel of old; it is an aged counsel that the devil did not know about up till now. The cross is not a wood but an eternal counsel and wisdom, a wonderful counsel of old. Whatever the cross deals with will be finished; it does not remain. The cross is called the Faith of the Son of God and the Gospel of Christ is a prophetic message of faithfulness

Galatians 2:20

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 

 

Jesus died on the physical cross once but he had died and suffered often, the last death was just the death on the Roman cross. To come as a son was death for him,

Philippians 2:6
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 

 

God coming as a man was death not just annihilation. There is “the death” and there is “even the death”, though he was deity yet he took position that was not deity which is wisdom expression that made him qualified for glory. God cannot trust man but this man, Christ Jesus had died often for the eternal counsel had found place in him, he did not look like man. To him being a son was not something he fought with; it was natural with him for he was at home with being a son. Though he has been raised yet he retained being a son which was part of the eternal counsel. To try angel Michael with this was not thinkable because there are things that the angels can think as well as things that are unthinkable for them. For instance, man hearing God words and doubting it cannot happen to them for it is unthinkable. For a man to believe in God and be weary they can strengthen because they know what it means to strengthen a man. They understand to help man when he is asking for help but cannot understand how a man will doubt God so none of them could take a posture to come and die on the cross. Satan himself could not understand for he was angelic if not he would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. It was not revealed and it was not understandable to him due to the way he was framed. His frame did not have what it takes to process it.

1 Corinthians 2:7-8

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 

 

You cannot journey in the path of Eternal Life without knowing the eternal counsel. Nobody can ever be saved if Christ crucified is not revealed. 1 Corinthians 1:18. If we preach Christ without the cross we have not preached Christ which means that we are not building a habitation of faithfulness where God will dwell for his dwelling must be aged like God. When they see our lives, they must see the cross showing forth. This will show that our house is becoming sure and a house of faithfulness. The Gospel is not talking about man’s intelligence which seems to be working now but about eternal counsel of old. When they want to build eternal abode they will bring down materials of eternal counsel and what is called our lives will not be known again which means that we are gaining strength to stay on their eternal instruction. This was what made Abraham a friend of God, he had no child and he could stay on their counsel. God told Adam and Eve to eat and he came down to discuss what they were eating. We need to see that what is happening now is older than the world and no matter what happens the counsel of old will remain. Hallelujah!
