Understanding the Prophecy of God
One of the reasons for Life Campaign 2024 is to bring Jesus to us. We have found so much mercy from God to navigate some paths and make clear-cut distinctions in this season.
God has a vision; He is looking for His image and likeness, and this vision involves a making process. God has prepared a way for His vision to be actualized; this is prophecy. (Dan. 9:24)
Prophecy is not about foretelling; it is a message. Whatever will make a man settle on the earth is not prophecy. Prophecy is a body of thought that has the power to actualize the vision or thought of God. (2 Pet. 1:16)
For us to be made into God’s image and likeness, the prophecy of power and the prophecy of His coming must be made known to us. (Gen. 1:26)
God is not the originator/author of confusion, He is doing something. Whatever assignment God gives us must be in connection with what He Himself is doing. (1 Cor. 14:33)
If the cross is not administered to the soul, such a soul would not be saved. We cannot administer the cross by ourselves because we cannot kill ourselves. No man can kill himself.
Christ is the power and wisdom of God. What makes prophecy potent is the cross. In the prophecy of power, Christ will be seen as the administerer of the cross; which can take away flesh. (1 Cor. 1:24)
Cross is not self-denial or what a man can comprehend, but God's utmost wisdom. God administers this dose to kill self in us, as we cannot kill ourselves.
Satan is also a preacher. Seeing God’s intention, he has gone ahead to preach another message to the church. It is a major decoy to the prophecy of Jesus. (2 Cor. 11:13-14)
The coming of the Lord is a message, not an event, from this; the church has missed it. Also, prophecy is not an event, but a message. The appearance of Jesus is meant to change us. (James 5:7-8, Rev. 1:3)
Christianity is about ascension. We cannot move from one stratum to another if God does not move us from one cadre to another.
As Jesus is being preached, men should be experiencing ‘Harpazo’ which means being 'caught up'. We must be conscious of the inner changes that should go on in us daily. (Rev. 12:5)
In the coming of Jesus, we see the works. We cannot break into the prophecy of His coming if the true light is not shining. The Son of God was manifested to bring forth works that can undo the works of the devil done in man. Every man without the light of God is a complete work of the devil.
It takes the good light to make a man good. The purpose of light is to change us from within and make us good. The first work which is meant to make us living is the beginning of men that can call for more of God. (James 1:17)
The adversary has redefined everything that God has defined originally. Any power that is not the product of knowledge or meant to make us overcome flesh is not power. Power must be preached to us!
We often assume that we know Jesus, but we do not. It takes revelation for us to see Jesus; He must be revealed again to us, and His coming is to bring times of refreshing to us. The work of the first prophecy is to take away our sins. (Gal. 1:12)
There are stages/calibrations in the good light (the realm of the living). To be a child of the living, we must acquaint ourselves with the good light. (Job 22:21)
God is light; a person that comes out of life to manifest to us and bring us to life. No work can be done without the light/day. (Jhn. 9:4)
It takes light to access prophecy and do the work of God. Anyone who can be said to be doing the work of God is one who is receiving light and accessing prophecy. If we don't move from wherever we are to the realm of seeking light and works, it would be disastrous.
We must move from being a child of the good light to being a young man of the good light; from there we are becoming stars, as it takes light and understanding for a soul to overcome the wicked one. (1 Jhn. 2:13)
Spirits are lights and the way to overcome them is to have a higher understanding that they cannot demystify. Anyone who uses the good light appropriately will become a father of the good light. Fathers of the good light are sons of the Living God. (Jhn. 1:5, James 1:17)
The man that was hung on the cross wasn't a mere son, He had used the light of the Father to move to a higher dimension than where He was when He asked His disciples about what men said He was. The son of the living is a child in the school of abiding where the true lightshines. (Mark 8:29)
At all stages, the true light is shining but where we are in our journey determines the kind of work that will be done in us. The work of the light in us is to change us. In this season, we must love light.
The Bible is not redundant or repetitive, it is for us to understand layers of works and to see our warfare in the spirit. (1 Jhn 2:13-15)
Fathers are those who know ‘Him who is from the beginning’. It is in this realm of fatherhood that stars are needed. These stars are co-laborers with God, who will bring the light for the church to feed on. (Matt. 9:37, 1 Jhn. 2:14)
As believers in church, our destiny is tied to men who are stars in the hand of Jesus. It is God’s prerogative to choose those that will be in His hands and they are bearers of the message for the church. We must fellowship with these angels (men) for us to come into the fellowship of God’s will and what He is doing. (Rev. 2:1)
God has produced some stars in the Nigerian church and it is certain that there are not many of them available. Hence, we must jealously treasure the stars (our fathers) in our midst that God has raised for us.
No one can take out a man who has the custody of prophecy until he has finished his prophecy, as Jesus Himself gave them the prophecy.
Man is hastening unto the second death and the only way to stop the operation of the second death is to receive and follow these stars that God has raised. Satan is highly manipulative and will do anything to ensure that we do not discern the prophets of God that He has raised for our healing. (Matt. 10:41)
Eternal life is a place of absolute rest, but the rewards are to give us the capacity to move us to a point where we will put things under. The rewards are meant to equip us for higher work.
Being a morning star is for work. Just like the sun is commanding dominions, the morning stars are for a work that God is determined to do. We have been chosen by God to function in this capacity.
Life Campaign this year is an initiation; as we hear these holy words, we are being initiated to the prophecy. We must not look down on ourselves as God is set to make us partakers of this prophecy.
We are cutting covenants and interacting with spirits by hearing. As our fathers are teaching, spirits are being dispensed, we must give attendance to the things we are hearing because this gospel is of high importance to heaven.
