Hebrews 1:1-3; 3:1

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 

A major mistake we do is to major on the Spirit leaving the Word; this can make one go into error. Let us desire that scriptures be opened to us so that we will not be deceived. Even if we start with the Spirit, we should still be grounded in the scripture for we judge spirits by the Word. To arrive at God, that is, reaching the end of the things of God we will need to stay to hear and learn; we must be full of words. The Word of God sustains the throne; it is related in the scripture as water, this water is not the Holy Ghost but the Word of God. If word is symbolized by water then we need the Word the way we need water naturally, likewise if Word is water then we cannot finish learning it; this implies that we need a lot of Word.

Hebrews 10:21-23

And since we have a great priest over the house of God, Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

The Profession of Faith is also called vocation. Ephesians 4:1; Hebrews 3:1, Hebrews 4:14. Our Profession cannot be learnt under the allocation of the milk so if all that we know as children of God is the milk we will not see the Profession. Milk in itself is not against the Profession because we need it to get us prepared for something higher. The milk of the Word is like the kindergarten stage in the Profession. We need the milk to prepare us for the Profession. One who has drunk good milk will do well in the Profession but one who has not drunk good milk will not do well in the season of the Profession; they will misinterpret the Profession and can also be fanatics abusing  the Profession. Milk prepares the heart to handle this Profession.

1 Corinthians 3:2

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 

This Profession is shown to a person when he has come into learning beyond the milk. Paul fed the Corinthian church with milk and not meat. They had a lot of breakthrough in the realm of the spirit but they were milk church. It is possible to be a child of God and be carnal. It is not the sinful act of offence or the failing of morals according to our judgment that is called carnality. Carnality is a state. There can be acid test for envy or strife but they came to be as a result of carnality. One who is carnal cannot receive what a spiritual man can receive. He can handle meat. A man cannot bear meat because of carnality.

1 Corinthians 10:1-5

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 

If the water here was spiritual then the water was Christ. Water is Christ; Meat is also Christ. So, to give meat is to teach Christ. The teaching of meat is to consistently teach the revelation of Christ. Christ is spiritual; Jesus’ drink is spiritual; Jesus’ meat is spiritual.

1 Corinthians 3:1

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 

To feed one with the spiritual is to give Christ. Meat determines the state of a church. If you want a spiritual church then teach the meat of the Word. It is possible for a natural church to teach milk; this makes the people carnal and babies. Our state is what is responsible for God’s dealing towards us. Weight cannot be laid too much on a carnal church but expectation is placed on the spiritual church. When God sees that it is time for a carnal church to move he changes the feed.

Acts 7:28-31

Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons. And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush. When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,

The Church in the wilderness was moved there to be spiritual. When it was in Egypt it represented carnality. The Church was prosperous in Egypt before its persecution but this was not the Profession of this church. This church could not come into its full potential because they ran to Egypt for protection. The Church settled because of Joseph and forgot the Promise land. The bible is a book of blood so preachers should not use it for prosperity. It is a life book because it commands our lives.

Interpretation of Tongues

That which I kept in that book is to testify of me and speak of me. Until I open your eyes you cannot see me because it is sealed by blood. I am opening it so that which is written can be opened.

There were things Egypt practiced by the virtue of the spirits there. The spirits in Egypt were stronger than the Israelites so God had to trigger something: ‘…A pharaoh who knew not Joseph…’ was raised to suffer them. The devil is the master mind, snot God but God allowed it. The suffering was for them to hate Egypt and not want to go back. Israelites were in love with onion, garlic, cucumber, they are called root food, but God said it was time for higher food. This showed they were carnal by the food they ate.

The spies came with another fruit, the tree fruit is a higher fruit and it was hung on their shoulders. Shoulder signifies a priestly responsibility, which meant it was a priestly food. The Israelites complained about the land; spoke evil of the land, and God spoke in His wrath that they would not enter his rest. God wanted a nation not three people, which is the reason for the administration of milk first. God wants many Christians because he wants a massive number of the Church who will be spiritual.

God gave them meat and they ate because season had changed. The people did not know they had changed. They had been eating manna for years. Manna can only be present when your mind is not engaged in work or in providing for yourself; everything about you must hands off. Wilderness is a resting place. It is learning rest by force; we cannot serve God the way God wants without circumcision. When Moses was sent to Pharoah, God told him to let his people go, for ‘Pharaoh’ is the keeper of children from being spiritual. He is the slave master and this is the purpose of Egypt; it is the house of bondage. Babylon is the house of captivity.

Captivity fights the spiritual man while bondage does not allow children become spiritual. When they came into the wilderness they were baptized in the red sea. The carnal nation was coming after those who have been separated. They had to pass through the sea but flesh should not pass through the sea for a natural man cannot take the things of God. The sea symbolizes the veil. It was closed and everything about Pharaoh was buried. The Israelites did not know that they were not drowned in the sea in order to sing afterwards but to be in the wilderness and be made spiritual.

Wilderness is called no man’s land. No plot of land was there, nor was there rainfall they walked for days and after a while their true state was obvious, then they had water but the water was not meant to be sweet it was meant to be bitter to the flesh revealing to them that they were in a different state, when in wilderness everything about your strength will not work. True generals live in the wilderness like Moses who has been made the meekest man. You cannot solve the problem of Egypt if you are in Egypt. So God had to send Moses to bring the children of Israel to where he was.

Wilderness is a deliverance from Egyptian stature, estate and person; this includes everything about wilderness from the wilderness of sin to the plains of Moriah and to Shittim (behind Judah). The Shittim wood was used to build the tabernacle. The wilderness journey is to make one a spiritual man. The Israelites kept on eating manna until they got to Jordan, which is the Holiest of all. When the cloud of Glory ceased, manna stopped. All these talked about the state of spirituality. The pillar of cloud was to witness concerning the meat that has to be eaten for completion. It took them forty years to get to Canaan. It can take us forty years to learn Christ. As far as the children of Israel are concerned, they had forgotten about Canaan land having journeyed long in the wilderness. The Profession is expected to be clear immediately we get to the wilderness.

Wilderness is a place of nothing. If by any means a person moves from Egypt to Israel he would not survive there. Sun and hunger will kill such a person. The journey for the saint is not the same for the carnal man. The wilderness is the spiritual but the church in the wilderness hated manna and could not eat it. Manna ceased as they ate the corn of the land. Light comes when we are given meat. Milk cannot do this, it only prepares. It was when they were in the wilderness, that Levites were proven, in the waters of Mara and because of this God saw they had ability to bear God so he told them to be brought closer to be their priest.

According to the law of circumcision, God will have the first born, if he does not neither will the parents. Hannah faced rejection. One great wilderness is polygamous house. It is better to tear a woman with a sword, that to scorn a woman who does not have a child, at times miracle will not happen until we align ourselves with his will.

It is the high priest that trims the eyes of the lamp to burn more for God. What is responsible for eyes is oil. The Law of the first is powerful so God chose Levites so that Israel can survive for God is a jealous God and a consuming fire; this means he takes everything. He does not share half; he consumes and overwhelm. This is the way we serve him. If anyone cannot do this we cannot come near to God. If we know God well we will obey him because no one is as precise as God. The spiritual man is a man that has been fed with the Light of God but the carnal man is an enemy. ‘’To be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.’’

It is not good for man to be continually carnal under Light. We should not grow strong against Light. If not we will be anti-Christ having strength to fight against Christ. A spiritual man is a man in the wilderness according to the Old Testament. Wilderness is the design by God to shut down the climate of the carnal man and bring to extinction the carnal man. WHAT CHANGES OUR STATE IS THE HOLY SPIRIT. He is the cloud over them; as long as God is not there a man can die in the wilderness. Wilderness is learning God’s way against alternatives. Flesh will still be flesh if way is absent. Ways surmount flesh. The purpose of wilderness is for ‘way’ to be known so that we will not remain flesh. We are made spiritual when we receive the installation of God’s way in our hearts. It will take the spiritual man to enter into the Promised Land. A sign that you are spiritual is that you are submitted to the Holy Ghost. You cannot learn Christ without the Spirit. Christ is the meat that makes a man spiritual; he must be known. Not all men are spiritually minded. Until we get to the world to come some men will not be spiritual because they have resolved to remain carnal. That was why there were people who murmured among the Israelites. Something in them did not allow for the learning of Christ in the wilderness. They did not follow God willingly, they were dragged there but there were people (Joshua and Caleb) who love the lessons of the spirit obtained a good report.

Christ is the spiritual mind; the law of the Spirit of Life is in Christ. Death and sin are the law of carnality. The worship of Egypt is the wisdom of the grave. They know how to keep/preserve the dead (mummies). Theirs is to celebrate the dead so God had to call his people from the land of the dead. God had to take them out yet some refused to wake up after being called from the dead and kept turning back. Christ is the preparatory realm to meet God; no carnal man can meet God. It takes Christ to know God. Our course begins when we begin to learn Christ; this is the beginning of Eternal Life.

It is the mystery of faith that makes the faith. Nothing crucifies the flesh except Christ. Christ is an impossible learning for the world; he is the terminator and solution of the world; i.e. the ending of the world. Learning Christ is crucifixion. We have to learn the cross though the end becomes tougher as it comes to an end. One of the things that was dealt with in Israel was that the cross was dealing with blood ties.

Peace is the end of Christ. ‘…for to be spiritually minded is life and peace…’ The purpose of Christ is to make us live. When we are living we are making covenant and breaking covenant of sin and death through our submission to God through Christ Jesus our Lord. When doing faith we are doing Life. Faith is bitter; it is Mara but later on it becomes sweet. When we do covenant of faith, we do peace, then Charity.

The Kingdom is the infilling of the Holy Ghost in us; we must therefore walk in the Spirit. By walking we are making covenant and breaking flesh. We walk by positioning ourselves to hear. The purpose of faith injunction is to build something. When faith come, we have the opportunity to walk in faith; we are coming to God, we are taking steps. We cannot pray agreement we can only do in order to undo former agreements. Acquainting ourselves with him is faith. When we are at peace, God will come for peace is the end of Christ.

Job 22:22

Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart. 

Job was in the terrain of oath like Abraham. If will take the spiritual man to handle the responsibility of the Divine God. The spiritual is closer to divinity though divine nature is higher than spiritual nature. The Son of the Living God is a Divine Man while a spiritual man is a perfect man.

High Priest is taken from priests, not from carnal men. You might be a spiritual man yet not blameless. We must submit to God until the issue of sin is taken away. Sin is from the Most Holy Place. Satan was not a small angel before he fell. He was a cherubim with Testimony, so to get him completely out we must allow Jesus who is made higher than the heavens to teach us. There are evil laws in that cherub higher and older than man and wiser even than some angels, so it will take the Son to expire Satan. Teaching and doctrines cannot be overlooked. If overlooked, we will not be purified.

Hebrews 1:2

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 

The book of Hebrews was not to a young church but to a people who are finishing the spiritual course. Paul was telling the Hebrew church to move forward but after a while they began to offend Christ. In chapter 12, they were offended in Christ. Sin here is the work; transgression against Christ. Sins like fornication is not a transgression. Breaking laws of God is transgression. If sin is not dealt with, it will further lead to another sin. It must therefore be quickly address. Sin is a fault a weakness. Judas loved money and was stealing until he sold his master. Every sin has a place it is going, so it is clear blood is higher, thicker, stronger and has a higher response to God. Blood is not faith, it is Love. To resist blood is to resist the dragon. The dragon is birthed in blood because God also wears blood. Revelation 4:3, ‘And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.’ We cannot bring ourselves there we have to be chosen to carry the blood; God is Life in the purest form.

Hebrews 1:3

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 

Christ is a professional of something. There is a Calling of God that makes him High priest. Priests respond to God to a measure but High Priest respond to God to the end. Christ did all that he did to bring many sons to Glory. The real praise to God is that we are coming to God; that we are becoming the praise of His Glory. His Grace makes us come because it will take grace to sit. We cannot sit if we are not graced.

Paul was at his purest form when he was writing the book of Hebrews, so it was divine thought that was operating in the book. Jesus did partake of death by Grace for while he was dying, Grace was at work. Grace must be agreed with when it is supplied as a teacher. It will teach us to be sober. After we have learnt Grace, we can then look for the blessed Hope. Having been rid of the world, the essence of Hebrew is to explain the Profession. Priest cannot sit at the right hand, only High Priests do so if we are not high we cannot sit.

The Calling is priesthood and the Hebrew church was spiritual and holy. They were partaker of the heavenly calling. Jesus as a high priest is holding faith with a pure conscience. By this he received a crown and became the king of the Faith. The crown for this hope gives us Life. Crown is on the head and a tie of mastery can be ours through the learning that cannot be taken from us. Some people can stay in a place in the Spirit because they are crowned while some will not be able to get there. Bible school does not make us a professional; it is God that can make a profession.

He was called King of righteousness and King of Salem. He was a king of a path in the Spirit. He did and was certified by the heaven that he did it, so the higher a profession the more invisible. It takes learning skill as a higher profession. Every profession has an illumination. Profession is supposed to turn you to a light for light makes you a king. What controls all things is Light. When you are learning your mind is being washed and you are being redeemed from the crude nature. The Church at present is local and crude; that is why Christ cannot yet marry us; also why we cannot play with doctrine.

Doctrine beautifies a man; it washes and makes us whole. Lucifer was an epitome of beauty. This is what he uses to attract men. If you are not given to word you are joking with your making. Light makes beautiful. When we want to retain our ash, we are joking with beauty. God is holding things by the Word of his power, he is not holding things by just power. In grading, the Word is higher than power. We cannot hold power without holding the Word. We cannot hold with him except we have his Word. What high priest holds are all things; all things means ages. The present age is held by angels while the future age is held by the high priest (Jesus). He is holding all things to come by the Word.

Hebrews 2:2

For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; 

What we speak is what we hold; we profess our profession. We are speaking the word to come. If therefore this is what we speak then we must be holding the world to come. To speak it is to confess it and profess it. What we speak will save us. To speak it is that we are not denying it but confessing it that it is ours. God has not given this Profession to angels but to us as he has given it. Anyone who can control the world to come can control the present heaven and the earth. This is what Jesus meant when he said we should seek first the Kingdom. By this the world will wonder where we are living from. We must not stop speaking because Satan wants to keep our mouth shut. We should not be ashamed what he represents.

Hebrews 1:9

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. 

His fellows in the scripture above are those who will be able to access him and hold together with him. God has called Jesus to hold something with him which is the Testimony. Jesus is looking for those who will be joint heirs with him and hold what he is holding. Stature will make us hold things. 1 John 1:1, ‘ That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;’ He is holding the word of his power. God is the first holder then he raised a man to hold it with him. You cannot hold this and not become as God. The first part is fellowshipping with him. In fellowship, we learn and grasp. Our fingers are to hold the Word of God but when we have held faith and are about to hold the Word of Eternal Life, Satan will come to fight us. To hold the Word is to stay by it and gain confidence. As we hold, we gain confidence. 1 Timothy 3:9, ‘Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.’When we have held Eternal Life and inherited, battle ceases. Eternal Life being our life is a practice of the Profession. Though Eternal Life solves the problem of life, much more, he saves from the power of death. Hallelujah!
