FINDING THE PURPOSE FOR LIFE/LIVING
Life is a gift and it is so precious. We were not allowed to choose the country we would be born into it was by divine orchestration. Living as to do with all that pertains to our life.
THE MEANING OF LIFE
Life is how much you are able to affect the people around you; that is adding value to other people. Life is the essence of existence. Life is who you or what a person stands for, what informs their living.
Life is a sum total of activity that humans carry on every day either within themselves or amidst others. For some defines life to them is the activity they were born into. Generally, life is lived from what is discovered from activities around. Many people who are yet to find the reason for living question the essence of life.
THE MEANING OF PURPOSE
'Purpose' is what informs or influences your daily activity. Purpose is the reason for a thing. We do so many things because we met it on the earth here and they became a routine to us but we do not know the reason for such things. For a white man’s world anything they meet they always ask questions and make enquiries until there is a resolve and this resolve becomes what he lives for but in the black man’s world they have shut down our sense or reasoning. The right attitude is to want to know.
WHERE CAN PURPOSE BE FOUND?
The purpose of a thing can be found from the maker or the producer. Everything that we see is created by someone. The reason why we do not get the purpose of a thing is that we disregard the maker and tend to under-utilise or over-utilise it. For us to get the use or reason of a thing we must trace it to the source.
We cannot get the best of life if we do not know the purpose of life, a successful man is a man who lives from purpose. We can have a wicked successful man as much as we can have a good successful man. A wicked successful man is wicked because he lives from what he has defined as life. He saw the pathway of wickedness and he chose it.
Purpose is not easy to find. Purpose is intent or vision which is with the maker. Having found the maker does not mean you have found the purpose until the maker tells you the purpose. The real purpose of a thing is found from the root. Purpose is not surfacial it is very deep and far. The reason why we do not know the purpose of a thing is because such is deeply rooted. (Hebrews 4:12).
It takes a man who thinks deeply to find purpose else one will be a victim of purpose that is doing what seems to be generally acceptable and by doing this one will not get the best of life. The patriarch journeyed and brought the tablet of their journey as an example but this will still not replace our journey for we would still go through our journey and find what they found. Copying another person is detrimental as that will not make us be the best of ourselves. Nature should be preserved but not left alone for nature is meant to be enhanced.
For many of us, we were brought up to think within the box and this has governed our lives all through but purpose is outside the box and we would need to think outside the box to find it. We will not be the best of who we are until we find out the reason for being made so. Anyone who does not discover purpose will be a victim.
It takes energy to be thoughtful and follow things to the latter end or to the source. To make seeking out the Lord takes all of our heart and to use all of our hearts takes energy for there are many things in our hearts calling for our attention. Getting to know the God of our fathers will make us go far and be an original version of ourselves, but knowing our father and not their God will make us replicates of our fathers causing a stoppage to our originality. Finding our purpose for living will take us being a thoughtful and seeking generation. (Deuteronomy 4:29)
The capacity to think deeply on matters of life brings an energy that makes us seek out things that have been said or laid down until they become our own and not just what we were told. The maker describes fully the whole intention of a thing.
As believers, we should have enough strength to ask questions on everything so as to know, for Christ is a true and faithful witness and He has answers to everything but we will only get the answers when we ask for better understanding. In twenty years time if we do not cleave to the words of life it will be a regret for so much energy spent.
Paul invested so much of his life and time to know that which was revealed to him and that was why he was fully persuaded and could lay down his life because he knew that the things revealed were true. (Acts 26:15-16)
God wants us to find Him, so we must search the depths for understanding.
