Philippians 3:14

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 

We do not know the weight of our calling until we understand who the High Priest is. Jesus is the High priest appointed of God. The Calling of God over man is not a calling into ministry because even the preacher has to be a part of this calling. This calling is even more important than the call into the ministry. The calling of God in Christ Jesus is a high calling and the five-fold ministry was raised to service this calling.

Paul who said “…I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” Philippians 3:14 said that to affirm the apostolic calling of God. Heavenly calling does not mean dying and going to heaven but to become a heavenly man; not of this present heaven, for our high priest is higher than this present heaven and he would not give something lesser than Himself (the Son of God).

This High Priest (Jesus) has things to offer; things that made him who He is. Jesus Christ our Lord is a high priest of good things to come. What would rob us of this calling are things that man possesses. 1 Corinthians 6:12. This implies that one can be brought under the power of things. The things the High Priest is holding are greater than the things that hold men. You cannot understand the call if you do not understand the High Priest. Hebrews 3:1.

Ephesians 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 

Without spiritual blessings there is no surety of our calling and election. The church must pay attention to being raised into the knowledge of God. The New Testament is filled with heavenly things. Colossians 3:1-2. We are called to partake of these heavenly things which are able to make us. The Calling is not a matter of what a man thinks or want, it has been preordained that we be holy.

We cannot be holy except in Love for Love is the highest form of holiness. God has predestined us to the adoption of children. This is Sonship. Sons in the Kingdom are children who have been converted. It takes substance to convert an aged man who has outgrown the childlike nature because age in the world is a system against God. Matthew 18:3. The reason we are born again is “to be holy and without blame”. We must receive substances of Grace to become children. This Grace was ministered to Christ by the things He received from God.

A man can do five-fold ministry to a high degree without touching this calling of God or without understanding and obeying the Will of God. Ministry can be a distraction from this calling. The work of the ministry is supposed to help us achieve the Calling of God faster but the enemy has perverted things, and many people have become bad by pursuing to save people while ignoring their own growth. The measure at which a minister has been saved is the measure he can minister unto people; that is why this Gospel is first to save us. Ministers that would stand the test of time are men that pay attention to the work of salvation going on within them.

Jesus Christ is the first one to make His election and calling sure, He is the first one to hit the mark of the high calling of God, Hebrews 1:1-2. God speaks, Jesus speaks and the Holy Ghost speaks: these are the instruments of our raising.

If we do not hear, we would not arrive at our destination. God spoke to Moses from the burning bush till when he was going to die on the mountain. ...“hath in these last days, spoken unto us by His Son”... Hebrews 1:2. Jesus got to where He is by speaking until He became the brightness of God’s Glory and the express image of His person. God has spoken unto us by His Son which we must give earnest heed to. Everything in the Son came as a result of speakings and everything God has to give to man has been given to His Son Jesus. Jesus came into inheritance by speaking which he heard and obeyed.

To rob a believer is to rob him from speaking. We must keep hearing word for you to live. Don't joke with voice, we must be well positioned for speakings, not just to hear but to do what we hear; this is the technology of raising sons. Hebrews 1:3-4, our High Priest (Jesus Christ) was made. Hebrews 7:22. Death did not allow Moses the former priest to continue but this High Priest, Jesus was raised by the power of an endless life. Hebrews 7:16. Miracles didn't raise Jesus but the Life of God Himself raised him.

The Israelites could not endure the speakings of God but Moses endured the speakings of God and the ways of God were communicated to him. Psalm 103:7. The High priest entered just once a year, with blood but Moses entered every day and any time without blood because he had on him the law of access. He was called the law because he endured speakings; he was higher than the high priest (Aaron). He was the meekest man by speakings. Speakings convey the ways of God. A man of ways is a man of speakings.

The children of Israel knew acts but Moses knew ways which came to him by speakings. God doesn't want to raise ignorant men but men given to hearings. A believer does not appreciate except by doctrine. We must know the doctrine of Christ, which is not head knowledge but by heart. God wanted to make all the Israelites priests unto Himself but they could not endure His speakings; they limited themselves to acts, having eaten manner they still died. Hebrews 3.

The emphasis is that we must position ourselves for more speakings; be ready to hear. Hear things that will communicate substances of Christ Jesus. Hearing may look foolish; what God has for His Church must be given and it comes through speakings. The things of God are given through revelation (understanding) not in dreams. 1 Corinthians 2:10-14. The things of God freely given to us are spoken, once people understand it they can run and walk with it.

For flesh to be turned to spirit, the words of God must be spoken. God is Spirit; His words are spirit and life. John 6:63. The destiny of man is to change and be heavenly. Jesus became man and walked on earth; the speakings of God kept Him through out His walk on the earth until He returned to God. He was given substances step by step. He was made by molecules which are readily available with the High Priest of good things to come. Jesus can only communicate the things He received from God by speakings. The speakings are not necessarily audible voices but understanding communicated by thoughts of God instilled in us by the Holy Ghost. We will never be made without speaking and we must be sure we are hearing the right things, the things of God. Speakings fell Diana and people’s hearts were reconfigured, making them turn to the true God. Teachings will make spirits that have held people bound fallloff. We become by believing what Christ says.

Hebrews 1:9

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? 

We must rely on words for they communicate understanding that would raise a stature of Christ in a man. Christ obtained inheritance by speakings. God is not tired of saying so you should not be tired of hearing. He remains because his substances are enduring substances received by sayings.

We must take heed to words of salvation. The words being spoken are words of salvation. Ephesians 4:20-22. Words being spoken must communicate the knowledge of Christ. It takes this to raise a man to be Christ. Christ is not a present heaven man or earthly man but a man of God. The opening up of Christ is the revealing of Truth. Any hearing we hear must communicate truth for it is the building block of Christ. The Holy Ghost gives words of Christ because the only thing that pleases God is Christ. God cannot be pleased by anything lesser.

Predestination is the calling which the devil wants to rob us from. Submit yourself to speaking and other things will be added. The devil will harass man in the place of speaking by the cares of this world. Luke 4:4. The Word made other things; therefore it will bring other things. This doesn't mean we should not go about our dealing business but we must give importance to hearing. There is what the Spirit is saying for every season.

When you come to a season, endeavour to hear what the Spirit is saying so as to move to the next season, be wise if not, you will be left behind. When Truth is spoken Grace is ministered.

1 Corinthians 3:1-2

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 

Grow up to become like him but become Christ first, then God will commit himself to you. A carnal man cannot bear God. We eat by hearing. A carnal MAN cannot bear responsibility. The opening of the eyes bears responsibility for a man. If you cannot bear Christ you cannot bear God. The speakings of God are weightier. Christ can take God which is a higher responsibility. God wants to commit himself to man but he wants men that can bear him. Without Truth there will be no growth.

Hebrews 5:1

For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: 

Our High Priest is a man but he is God and to him have all men been called to become.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Jesus was first a mere man but he was taken by laws and commandment, to be taken from among men, we need knowledge. The high priest is a raised building of knowledge, the knowledge of Christ and of God. By learning him, we partake of the things of himself and the things of God. God has spoken in his Son, who we are to hear and also to do all he says.

There is a level of speaking that the High Priest is giving that not all can take. Isaiah 28:10. Knowledge and doctrine are the same; knowledge communicates doctrine. Satan wants to drive doctrine from the Church. Without doctrine we cannot have God. When a man has the father and the son, his election and call has been made sure.

The way we inherit them is by knowledge so don't joke with knowledge for it will rob you of your destiny. By preaching instructions are being given to us. Doctrine must be delivered by speaking, hearing and doing. We must pray to understand this doctrine. Understanding gives men doctrine and what to do.

In many places in the scripture, God keeps saying some things over and over, it is because of emphasis. This message you seem to be hearing now, unless you hear again you have not actually heard, we must go over it again. Light comes gradually. Proverbs 4:18. Salvation takes process; it instills substance into us. God is looking for Christ that he can speak God to, only he that has been weaned from milk and breast can as well take Christ.

This calling cannot be realised until we give heed to speakings and we must be doing what we are hearing. We must desire to be quick to hear and quick to do. May the Father grant our hearts help to hear and obey the speakings of the Lord. Amen!
