Overcoming and Staying an Overcomer
Israel was not a nation while they were held captive in Egypt because they had no law, formation or a leader; it took the giving of the law to make them a house, which Moses was faithful to because the Lord put him in charge. (Heb. 3:1-2, Exo. 3:16)
The Prophecy according to Jeremiah and Isaiah is to the house of Israel and Judah. A house is a people that has received a measure of building within them. The Israelites became a house as they approach the land God promised to the Fathers. Children are not referred to as a house until they have been built up. (Jer. 12:9)
The wilderness was a place that God led the children of Israel through to raise them as a house and formidable nation through which He can communicate all that He has in mind. The reason why the nations fought against them in the wilderness was to turn their hearts back to Egypt. (1 Cor. 10:2-5)
One of the things that fought against the children of Israel in the wilderness are fiery serpents, which represents spirits that feed off souls that dwell in the dust. The wilderness the children of Israel were made to pass through was a place where the Lord intended to break in the formation of Egypt in their souls, to take anything of Egypt out of them. (1 Cor. 10:9)
The warfare of the Israelites in the wilderness was summed up as a war with footmen. But in the land of promise, they will proceed to deal with spirits (horses). The wilderness is the Land of peace; it is a place where flesh is dealt with. (Jer. 12:5)
The essence of the wilderness experience is to produce a new man by bringing about a change of heart. When Christ has been wrought within us, it can be said that we have been brought near God. If we do not embody Christ, our hearts will still be far from God though we draw near with our lips. (Eph. 2:12-13)
We cannot come near to God without the breaking down of the wall of partition that separates us from God's ways and thoughts in our minds. (Isa. 55:9)
Spirits have designed diverse works within the souls of men. We cannot be brought near to God without the writing of the Law of the Spirit of Life within our hearts. (Rom. 8:1-2)
Christ is a wilderness designed to demoralize the flesh through the writing of the law of the Spirit of life. The flesh is a veil; a work crafted by evil spirits. This veil is an understanding and awareness of the heart that subjects man under bondage. (Isa. 25:7)
God designed the wilderness experience to wear out the flesh through the knowledge of the New man/Christ. The Faith of Christ is potent enough to bring an end to the law of sin and death in our souls regardless of the degree of work the law of sin has wrought in the soul. (Rom. 8:2)
Sin is a knowledge that robs men of life and puts them in bondage. The work of sin and death is bondage. The way to walk in the Spirit is to walk by faith against the nature of the soul by reason of the law of sin and death, which the soul has learned in past conversations. (Rom. 8:1-4, Eph. 4:20-23)
To continually overcome the flesh (anything that is not of faith), we must stay under the wisdom of the spirit/law of Christ.There are trainings we go through in Christ which can make us weary or faint but we must not relent until we become. (Jer. 5:1, 1 Cor. 2:5)
What the flesh constitutes are principalities, power, might, and dominion. Their workings in the souls of men are to turn men into four-footed beasts, which is the symbol of carnality. We can encounter weariness in Christ but in Everlasting life, weariness is dealt with through continual renewal of strength. (Isa. 40:30-31)
We must move into the realm of the Everlasting and gain our ground there. When this is done, the flesh will no longer be an issue but will be easy to deal with it. (1 Cor. 1:29)
Christ has His water and blood; the blood of Christ is the spirit of Christ. It is through the ministration of the blood of Christ that we receive the life in Him. (1 Jn. 5:6)
Spiritual mindedness is an understanding that deals with the veil of sin and death. The forces we are warring against are spirits and not flesh and blood. Their intention is to keep us perpetually in the flesh to live our lives as mere men. (Eph. 6:12)
We need sight, insight and skill to journey through the path of life. Whenever we gain a breakthrough in understanding, the authority to live against the law of sin and death rests upon us. (Dan. 9:22)
We must grow in the wisdom and power of Christ by staying under the subjective leading of the Spirit. It is wisdom to be aware of God’s arrangement in our natural life which is meant to lead us to Salvation as we journey in Christ. Christ is the wisdom of the Spirit needed to stay in dominion over sin and death. (1 Cor. 1:30)
As the grace of Christ increases, we must still not cast away the garment of shame that we encounter in the learning of the gospel of Christ. We must guard against the tendency to want to change the perception men have about us in order to be accepted of them. (Rom. 1:16, 14:12, 2 Cor. 5:16)
Some works of sin and death that we inherited in our souls have their roots in the Everlasting works of satan because those works travelled down through the conversations of many generations in our natural lineage.
When an infirmity reaches the fourth generation, it has gone beyond a habit to a gene because covenants with spirits have been made and such infirmity will continue till a generation rises to confront and bring an end to its operation. (2 Sam. 12:3-4, Deut. 5:9)
God is raising an army whose single goal/aim is salvation. The enemy will do all that he can to weary us on the path but we must not relent. We must resolve to make progress on this path. (1 Sam. 17:26)
There are certain natures that we have overcome but can still be used against us by the enemy to make us stumble. The essence of the law of sin and death is to weary us in the path of faith. We must exchange our strength in Christ for Everlasting strength if we are to overcome weariness. (2 Sam. 12:3)
‘Horses’ are spirits in the heavens, they are fallen heavens. Horses are known for their strength, they are creatures that do not turn from battle. This relentless spirit is what we are meant to possess as armies of the Living God. The four spirits in Zech. 6:5 are commissioned to bring men back to the land of the living. (Zech. 6:5-6, Job 39:19, Hab. 2:8, Rev. 6:8)
We are being cleansed from the filthiness of the flesh by warring with footmen but to deal with the filthiness of the spirit we must war with horses/spirits. These are spirits that constitute fallen heavens. (2 Cor. 7:1, Rev. 6:12-14, 1 Pet. 1:9)
The powers of the winds are doctrines. The present evil world is a fallen heaven which is expressed in conversations we find among men. What the sons of God saw in the daughters of men in Genesis 6 are promises of a life that the god of this world designed to reduce them to flesh and keep them in carnality. (Rev. 6:13)
In order for us not to be weary on the path of Life, we must be strengthened to move beyond Christ into Everlasting life. In the sphere of Everlasting life, we contend with horses/spirits which are bent on bringing men to desolation and destruction which is a second death. (Jer. 12:5)
Hell is inverted heaven that we must be delivered from. There is a false peace that the world has been occupied with until God begins to take it away at the opening of the seals so that men can begin to seek true peace in Jesus. (Rev. 6:15, Jn.14:27, Amo. 6:1)
The fifth seal is a message that will cause men to begin to lay down their carnal understanding, thoughts and ways. (Rev. 6:9-11)
At the opening of the sixth seal, the refuge of lies that great men of the earth have hidden under are taken away. A quick work was done in men to make them begin to seek salvation. (Rev. 6:12-15)
The essence of the seven spirits of God is to deliver us from captivity and bring us into the land of the Living, they have works to do in our souls. The armies of the Living are those who have received the seal of the Living God. (Rev. 3:1, 6:12)
Satan has his moon and stars: these are arrangements of wisdom within him. The power of hell and death are ideologies that power the civilization of this world in different strata. (Rev. 6:12-14)
Satan has given men wisdom to deal with the limitations of the earth by teaching men not to live by faith/depend on God. (1 Cor. 1:21)
As we are being raised as armies of the Living God, we must know how to deal with evil spirits. At every major point of our journey in the path of life, there are evil forces that come against us. (2 Tim. 2:23-24, Heb. 4:15)
