Plagues That Prevent Victory
The core reason for marriage is to make the bride/virgin chaste; however, the enemy has gone ahead to make this unique estate a mere show in this generation. The bridegroom is meant to tend the woman as a garden. (2 Cor. 11:2)
Christ is the husband and we (the church) are the virgin who have been given all the gifts to be chaste, pure, holy, undefiled and white. The level of death worked against the female gender signifies the level of work that has been done against the soul. (Ps. 103:1-2)
Dancing in God’s presence has a way of dealing with flesh in us because it is a response to the Spirit; we are meant to dance to please our Father and not for show. In the same way, the decisions we make are like dance steps that show how malleable our soul is to commandments. (Ps. 149:3, 150:4)
The Spirit has a beat which are instructions of life we are meant to yield to. Satan also has his own beat which he plays to entice our souls, but we must choose whose beat we dance to.
The soul has been plagued with forgetfulness of what God has done; this was evident in the actions of the children of Israel in their forgetfulness of God’s dealings with them. We also have the potential to forget God’s forgetfulness.
Naaman’s disease is similar to that of the soul, which has been plagued with leprosy. We all are gentiles to the covenant of promise but we must respond like Naaman, who yielded/obeyed to bathe in the river Jordan. If we also yield ourselves to instructions of the Spirit, we can be healed as he was. (1 Ki. 5:13-15)
Fear is one major disease plaguing our souls. We are meant to marry the husband (Christ) and allow Him to dictate life for us and not fear. As the female gender is more fearful than the man (naturally), likewise our soul is full of fears.
We are constantly plagued with various fears, such as the fear of the future, whose end has no part in the testimony. We must resolve to live the faith life which is the solution to fear. (2 Tim. 1:7)
Another disease plaguing the soul (woman) is religion. We are meant to enquire to ensure that the things we are learning become a part of us by mastering the wisdom of Christ. It is time for us to look into and embody doctrine to come into our inheritance. Another disease plaguing a woman (the soul) is selfish love which she must be healed from.
We have to trust Christ as the husband to treat our diseases being aware that He loves us more than we love Him and yield. (Eph. 5:24-27)
We must keep hearing because these words are rubies or costly pearls that are meant to purify our souls which is why satan is seeking to stop men from obeying these words. (Pro. 8:11)
We must be able to obey the authority directly over us and not break our rank. Doing so will become a barrier to our journey and eventually destroy us. We must, especially in this season, not be found outside a local assembly or a pastor to whom we are submitting to directly. (Ps. 103:2-3)
We must learn and obey the law of forgiveness until it becomes a part of our lives. We should bare our hearts before the Lord whenever we find ourselves struggling with doctrine or teaching.
The enemy is a thief who desires to steal the life of Christ in us. We must, therefore, allow Christ to become our husband who dictates our needs. We should pray to hear God's thoughts concerning matters. The product of our hearing is the Faith life it births in us.
There is a problem with the generation gap bedevilling us. Our fathers took instructions during their days, which is why they are currently handling God’s word but our generation sees it as ‘too hard’.
Being a part of the armies of the Living God is not by mere words. God intends to us who are hearing this message of Everlasting life as part of the Armies, we must believe this. It is time to encourage ourselves to begin to submit to doctrine to enable Christ to become our husband/bridegroom.
As seen in the book of Revelation, the armies of the Living God move the battle from the land to the air and we must desire to be a part of the armies fighting in the air.
