The Mystery Of The Faith: The Raising of the Sons of God  5!

Being able to ascend is an expertise of knowledge because we are dealing with the promise of eternal inheritance; it is the highest experience that any creature has come into. The Faith itself is high that it took Jesus the Son of God to author.

Romans 1:4, 16-17

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Faith is the revelation of righteousness; a higher revelation of righteousness will take us to another level of faith. Faith is life; therefore we need to come to the higher realm of righteousness to get more of life. Romans 1:17. It is from one level of faith to another; faith to faith. The faith that Jesus brought to us is a mystery that was unknown before the coming of Christ. We cannot be strong or weak in this faith that Jesus authored; it is just one realm, because it is our entire life. Therefore, to live in the fullness of faith, righteousness (God’s own right) must be made known.

It is by faith and the revelation of righteousness that we journey to the father. This faith makes us to come/journey to God. We as flesh must be changed to become God’s kind of spirit and in order to do this, flesh must journey to God; which is done through faith. Faith has the ability to change us from flesh to God’s own righteousness and that faith comes by hearing. Romans 10:17. The Faith has to be given to man by God because no man can give it except God, who is the owner.

John 3:6

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Flesh is a personality; man is flesh personified; it is a person. No one was born to know God (none was born spiritual) because man is flesh. It is possible to quench/resist/grieve the Spirit because it is not our spirit but God’s and it was given to us for an assignment. God wants to save the whole of man (his spirit, soul and body). Man is made of two tablets in his soul, which are the heart and the mind.

Hebrews 10:9-11

Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

What God has been trying to deal with from the beginning is sin, which began when man fell. God got involved to save the heart and the mind (soul) and the spirit of man. The spirit of man died immediately through sin, but the heart and mind died gradually through sins or transgressions. It was only one disobedience that killed the spirit, but it was transgression that killed the soul. Jesus died for sin (the nature dwelling in the spirit) and sins. However, through man’s obedience, the spirit came alive. It was after the death of the spirit that man began to learn disobedience and by transgression, the soul (mind and heart) died also through working of disobedience. Romans 5:17-19.

Salvation would not have been totally achieved if it was only the Spirit that was delivered. God would not be satisfied if only the Spirit was made to become a Son. The Old Testament cannot deal with sins because the root/nature of sin was still available. Therefore, God brought a temporary arrangement to cover sin through the Law (to stop it from being fully blown). Psalm 32:1-2. However, this temporary arrangement could not deal fully with sin.

Hebrews 10:12-18

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Jesus by one sacrifice dealt with both sin and sins. Once what is wrong is made right, sin will be stopped. It is one sacrifice but several administrations. The writing of the laws in the heart and minds was not done once but overtime (through many administrations). The writing of the laws in the minds and hearts is the blotting out of iniquities; without these writings, sins will not be blotted out. Jeremiah 31:33. Without the writings of God’s law in the hearts and minds of people, His people will not arise. Faith is needed to cleanse/take away sins; this is the major role of faith. Revealing righteousness is the taking away of sins and transgressions.

The fact that we are born again does not make us God’s people. It is only by being cleansed from sin and iniquity that makes us God’s people and being God’s people is a promise. In the ark of God, there are two tablets, the law of God to man and that of God Himself; it is with these tablets that He made covenant with the people. They stood for His intention to transfer Himself to man. Man also has two tablets: the heart and mind; God also patterned His tablets after these. These two tablets have the power to receive the writing/spirit of God; they (heart and mind) are meant to take on the nature of God to become His spirit.

Ezekiel 36:25-27

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

To God, the main job is not recreating our spirit (being born again). The Faith that saved us came by believing, not through understanding/full comprehension; it was by Grace. This faith lacks the ability to fully sanctify the tablets, it only gives righteousness in our spirit, makes us righteousness conscious. It still lacks the ability to make God known. To attain the promise of eternal life, there are promises and experiences.  2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 4:1. The rest of God is His hope, eternal life- coming to the full experience/knowledge of God and the father. We have to fulfill all the promises to enter into God’s rest.

Hebrews 5:7-11

Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

Christ did not offer strong crying because He was afraid of natural death but because He was afraid of coming short of God’s rest. To come short of the promise is death (not natural) because Life is only existent in the promise. Death is not hell; it is a life outside Life. Fear is a trembling of missing the mark. We should not be afraid of accident or the likes but we should be afraid of coming short of God’s intention; though it takes time and knowledge to get to this level.  Although Jesus worked all the works he did while on earth, he was still trapped in the flesh and in this position He cried out to Him who could deliver Him; that is why He could stand as our High Priest. Hebrews 4:15.

Jesus during his lifetime did not try to do any acts of faith through miracles; he was just expressing his life (life expression). Some problems will naturally go with knowledge. This cry for salvation that Jesus cried was by the mystery of the Faith because it was a cry to be saved from the constraining power of the flesh that hinders one to continuously focus on God. These constraints and limitations are in the hearts and the minds. The issue of the heart and mind is what Jesus Christ became High Priest over.

Priesthood is hard to understood, which is why saving the heart and mind seems to be difficult. Jesus overcame these, because he feared and he found help. The Tabernacle is the instrument of priesthood which is designed for movement. God approved the tabernacles that Moses built because they aligned with the pattern of that showed unto him in the heavens (which represent the original). It is a must for believers to relate with God through the understanding of the priesthood or the tabernacle; without these, we cannot understand the Faith and will draw back from gazing on the Hope.

Hebrews 4:1

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

The Hebrew church was a gathering of people journeying towards rest. These people were not troubled because of the loss of their natural goods but because they started losing hope of the promised rest. Romans 5:1-5. The Hebrew church could not rejoice in hope anymore because the light of hope was already dimming in them. As we receive the substance of hope, hope will be seen. We must not stop here; we must keep seeking for the Hope which is not seen. Therefore, we need more light that will draw us nearer to the hope of Glory. We should not abide in the present hope or light but seek to press forward so that darkness will not catch up with us; we must keep seeking more light and the hope unseen. The soul that has set hope as a pursuit is in the tabernacle/sanctuary/holy place; he is in a night season and he must stand and not sit in this season. Standing in the night season takes strength and grace though Grace strengthens.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Throne of Grace is always willing to give hope to the comers in the night season. In the night season, our souls are being stretched out for cleansing. This is done for both corporate people and for individuals coming to God. The job of the high priest is to ensure that when the soul is being stretched out; cleansing is done through the ministration of Grace. The Godhead stands to ensure that that soul does not weary out in the process of being stretched but ensures that the soul is fully cleansed.

Psalm 110:1-5

Man cannot journey by his strength; he needs mercy, which is what Jesus came to do; to take us through process. To kill the physical enemy does not need priesthood. The enemies are kings (sin, death, etc, because they reign). Whatever does not make us make progress in the realm of the spirit/ to come to God is sin. Our unrighteous gaze is sin. The priesthood is to take care of these kings. It takes grace and peace to bruise Satan. The High Priest is the Priest of Grace and Peace; that is what we find in the throne of grace. Hebrews 4:16. When we get grace for grace, we come to peace.

When Grace comes, the strength for patience and waiting is given. It is not everyone that has the capacity to wait. Patience comes with Grace. Romans 5:5. When we are justified by Grace, we come to Peace. Without Grace for Grace there is no peace with God. Patience grants the grace to wait, to be expectant without getting weary. God does not give the patience of man but his own patience; as man’s patience will thin out while waiting for Glory or Hope. Human’s glory or boast cannot pursue nor lay hold on these things.

Isaiah 8: 15-18

And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

This last verse is as a result of those who have waited. It is possible to acquire Grace to keep waiting and seeking without tiring out. It is the seeking that drives God to come. Hebrews 9:26-28, ‘For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. The Lord appears always the second time or again; When God’s righteousness is revealed, he appears. The progress to Glory is called Salvation, Coming to God. There is always a phase of God that is unseen, irrespective of how many phases you have seen. In the mystery of faith, man must always look for God, staying on approaching the Tabernacle. Any place of limitation encountered is a veil (and we are not allowed to touch the veil, we wait, until the veil is removed). When we get before this veil, we wait and serve (do service wholeheartedly). May our hearts be given to this mandate. Amen!
