The Nature of the Battles

The army of the Living God is not a future ambition, it is already an emphasis in the spirit realm. There is a war in the spirit, and the church must come to the understanding and awareness so that she can be properly equipped to engage in warfare.

War is going on over our souls, as spirits have vowed that we will not receive the promise of Eternal life just as God has also sworn that we will receive Eternal life. The onus lies on us to show where we belong. (1 Thess. 5:3)

We must not assume that we are already in the army of the Living God, but from our level of growth in the spirit, we must be found warring. The army is a company of people but they’re not all on the same level in the spirit.

According to the proportion of light each one of us has, we must begin to war. Jesus doesn’t want to see us not warring, wherever we find ourselves.

There is great urgency in the realm of the spirit but the Lord is much more concerned about us and His demand is for us to take our place and take our stand. There is a door opened to us for access to greater light and understanding by grace to remove things that have held us down.

There is a victory the church is going to come into but there is a great time of warfare. Victory is assured if we use this season well. (Dan. 17:18)

The enemy is not at ease when he begins to see men like the Apostles He had warred rising up again, but God has opened up the dispensation that the Apostles went through again. Thus it is a time for battle.

The Apostles who taught and lived this life, who held testament find consolation when they see us holding this gospel, but they also see those who are causing disorder in the spirit amongst the brethren, and they are displeased.

The Apostles in the early Church did not just war for themselves but for humanity and the church; the essence of this war was for the church to be established in Christ's doctrine. And when this was done, the light of salvation began to dawn on the Church. (Acts 26:18)

Satan knows what can save mankind and the times and seasons when man can be made incorruptible. The first Apostle that took terrible times of dealings from this spirit was Paul because that spirit didn’t want the progress of the message of Christ. (1 Cor. 16:19, Rom. 1:16)

What the enemy robbed the church of, is what is taking centuries to restore. Our Lord Jesus has a strong burden over the Church to restore the Church.

The early church in the book of Acts is the beginning of the church, and they faced so many contradictions from the beast which is actually a spirit, so that the light of salvation will not advance in the earth.

The church was thriving and advancing in the midst of war and her purity was strong, but the enemy sowed seeds of corruption into the doctrine and by that weakened the church.

The enemy in his wisdom brought in an accord of false peace in the church, to tag every kind of person with the tag of the saints who were holding the Testaments of truth, creating a mixed multitude.

The spirit of the fourth beast has returned to war against the saints because it responds to the teaching of Everlasting life. This season is once again opened unto the church.

The first three beasts had dominion, but what made the fourth beast peculiar was that it warred against the saints and prevailed. We must know our enemies if indeed we are armies lest we begin to fight ourselves. (Dan. 7:1-3, 7-8, 15-25)

The fourth beast in Daniel 7 was the beast that began to reign when the church began, at Pentecost. The purpose of this beast was to war with the saints of the Most High, who are not just Jews, but those who are redeemed by the blood of Jesus. (Dan. 7:18)

It was by the wisdom of Satan to raise the fourth beast just ahead of the church, thus the beast was already reigning at the birth of the early church. But God kept the church from contact with this beast until the church began the teaching of Christ.

Christ is the power of God that keeps the soul ‘unto’ salvation; it is what can help us get to salvation which is the incorruptible life. It was saints who were keeping themselves unto salvation that the beast came against and prevailed. (1 Pet. 1:4, Dan. 7:21)

Hell and death ride upon corruption, once we align to the demands of Jesus Christ, corruption will be judged within us and begin to fail in the physical.

There are rankings in the army of God and we must not breach that. Even ministers ought to discern the grace of God upon one another and submit, by understanding ranking among us.

Now more than ever, we must obey the doctrines in the epistles because those are layouts for warring in the spirit. We must pay attention to the commandments of submission, spiritual authority and ranking in the spirit.

Wives must learn to once again submit to their husbands, love of the brethren must abound, submission to spiritual authority must increase; if we don’t do this, we are already been weeded out of the company.
