The Saved Beings
Over time, the church has believed that they knew all about salvation. However, salvation is beyond the New birth. The two entities of salvation are "God" and "the LORD" and these are the only saved beings. (Isa. 25:9, Col. 2:2)
Isa 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
A man cannot arrive at salvation without a process of waiting in the spirit, which is not prayer or fasting but receiving the revelation of Christ, the Father and God. We are being saved as we receive these revelations and believe on them. (Isa. 25:9, Col. 2:2)
The duty of Christ is to open our eyes (understanding) to the realm where salvation becomes our only profession. It is only a man that Christ has raised that can wait for God and arrive at salvation. (Eph. 1:17-20)
Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
We are not saved until we arrive at "the LORD" and "God" through the foundation of the knowledge of Christ. The elects are those who have obtained the salvation of Christ to receive the knowledge of salvation that is archived in the knowledge of the Father and of God. (Col. 2:2, 2 Tim. 2:10, Ps. 40, 16, 70:4)
We must come to a point in our lives where we become lovers of salvation. The manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit is not so evident these days because men's eyes are not fixed on so-great salvation. Such a soul will not respect ministry gifts and will despise the spirit of grace on men. (Heb. 2:1-4)
The definition of power changes for everyone as they grow in understanding. To a newborn babe in the spirit, power is the demonstration of spiritual gifts; to a man who has attained great stature in the spirit, it is the Eternal Power which is Everlasting life.
Any power that can give God to men is the greatest power. (1 Thess. 1:5, Rom. 1:16, 20)
The purpose of salvation is to deliver God to men, it is beyond effecting change in our character or manifesting spiritual gifts. We can only receive God as our salvation if we continually give attention to and hear the doctrine of the Father. (1 Jn. 5:20, Heb. 2:1-3)
