Walking Worthy

Unless we are filled with the knowledge of the will of God, we will not walk worthy of His calling. It is possible to bask in the gifts of the Spirit and manifestations of miracles and believe we are walking worthy of the Lord.

But these gifts are not equal to walking worthy of the Lord. (Col 1:1-2, 9-10; Matt. 7:16-22)

Col 1:1  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

Col 1:2  To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mat 7:16  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Mat 7:17  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Mat 7:18  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Mat 7:19  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Mat 7:20  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  I Never Knew You

Mat 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

A believer is added to the church to be saved. We do not yet have the nature of the seed of God in us when we are newly added to the church, but as we stay and allow the Lord to reveal His knowledge to us, we are converted and become like Him. (Acts 2:47)

Act 2:47  Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

The nature of sin is in our members by reason of our experiences. To believe that this sinful nature automatically changes when we get to heaven is a lie of the enemy because iniquity was authored in heaven.

However, God wants us to be totally free of sin such that whether we are in heaven or on earth, the nature of sin is no longer in us. (Ez. 28:15)

Eze 28:15  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Jesus was not born as God; rather, He was exposed to the knowledge of God in the form of doctrine and was raised till He overcame.

Jesus is the first begotten, thus we are to be begotten after His order; this can only be done if we receive the knowledge/doctrine He received and yield like He did. (1 Jhn. 3:9)

1Jn 3:9  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
