Feeding For Life
The church is a place where our Lord Jesus has preeminence as a shepherd. We must be fed by the shepherd; feeding is a process of eating and drinking. Our Lord Jesus Christ feeds the church through men He has raised.
The shepherd has what it takes to discern the right meal that can nourish the sheep for proper growth and development, as some meals can be poisonous to the sheep. A sheep does not have what it takes to lead itself, thus, we are expected to be malleable in the hands of the shepherd so as not to feed on meals that are not good for our system. (Ps. 23:1-2)

In our sojourn as believers, we need shepherds that recognize the right meals that are essential for our raising. Unless we are properly fed, God cannot commit souls into our hands.
Christ is the king/leader of the church. When the meal of Christ constantly comes to us, we will surely change, and make progress in the spirit.
When the meal for our growth is being given to us, it is expedient that we give full attendance to it and respond with our hearts faithfully, else, we will lose the meal.
To please the Lord, we must know His ways which is communicated to us via feeding. Just like a suckling child is weaned from milk after a season, our Lord Jesus recognises the seasons over us as we journey, and changes our meals from time to time. (1 Pet. 2:2, Heb. 5:14)
What can satisfy our hunger and thirst is God’s meal. It is important that we do not rush out of the presence of God, assuming that we have heard. When we ruminate (meditate) on what we have heard, we find grace to embody it. (Matt. 5:6)

God’s meal is light. When light dawns upon us, understanding and judgment permeate our hearts.
Understanding comes to us as we keep following God and taking in His words. Our reasoning, judgment, perspective and countenance get brightened as we keep feeding on God’s meal. (Matt. 5:6)
We must partake of God’s table. As we feed, we are becoming like God. Anyone who applies his heart to God’s voice, and keeps hearing, will surely change.
God is a speaking God. Our ears must be tuned to Him. We must know what He is doing; without this, we cannot hear and respond to His call. (Heb. 1:1, Rom. 10:17)
The growing of the ears depicts maturity. Hearing is a training, and as we keep yielding, we become more aware of His voice.

Following is a skill we must learn. As we hear and do God’s Word, strength comes to us to keep on following. (Heb. 6:3)
The realm of Everlasting life is the realm of more guided feeding. The everlasting meal is scarce; it takes seekers to find access to that meal through mercy.
The Water of Life has what it takes to beautify the soul and even the body. When we listen to God’s word with rapt attention, we will be beautified. (Gen. 2:20)
God’s intention is to raise armies. Armies are people who are focused and disciplined, they are always conscious of warfare.
Armies are a company of people who understand the importance of order. One who will be enlisted as an army of the Living God must learn to follow, and fall in love with order.

We have to revere the work that God is doing in His church through His servants. To rebel against God's authority that He set is to position oneself against the growth of the church.

The armies God wants to raise these days are people who are dependable and reliable, those God can call His own. (Ps. 23:1, Philp. 4:19)
God Himself is a part of the army He is raising, therefore, we must look like Him. God is a God of order and it is expected of us to follow orders to the letter. (Eph. 6:11)
God is interested in us; regardless of our level of growth, what matters to Him is understanding, and our ability to cooperate with what He is doing. (Rev. 3:20)
The enemy is against us and has set many traps to prevent us from journeying to the end. When we are willing to do what God desires of us, we will have sufficient wisdom to avoid the traps of the adversary and journey safely until the end.
Christ is the prerequisite for coming to the realm of the New Testament; the testament of the Father and God. Christ is not the end, the end is Eternal Life, and we must find grace to align with God’s training till we arrive at the end.
